Are there any restrictions on vehicles (tire size, armor, reg., etc.) for this run?
All our vehicles should be reg. and ins. for any mass. lands.
mabell is mass. public land
the summit is private land...
But it would be best to have rigs reg. and ins. for it also.
For the Summit... it is stock friendly on one side simular to GG.
with open trials and small obsticals. stock tires , tow points and heavy armor not required. 4wd high and low used. airing down not required for most of this side.
The other side has moderate to extreme trails.
32" tires, sliders and armor strongly suggested.
most trails have off camber slopes and large rocks for obsticals.
lots of banging and tugging. 4wd low only. airing down required
Mabell is a 3-8 rated trail is 90% large rocks and ledges
some off camber slopes and large steep ledges for obsticals.
it is a short but a challanging in and out trail
so what you go up you must come down
with many lines from moderate to extreme.
picking your way and watching your spotters a must.
32" tires , full armor and also at least one locker a good plus.
banging ,spinning and needing tuggs is the norm for this trail.
4wd low only for this trail, airing down is required.
if you need some pics. I'm sure we can find some.
hope this helps Tom
