I dropped my truck off at OK 4 Wheel Drive in Stewartsville, NJ last night to have my Superior 4.56 gears and ARB rear air locker installed. They will be working on the truck today, Monday, and tomorrow, Tuesday. Hopefully they do not have any issues and I will finally have this whole process completed.
I will be one of the 1st II Gen in the country to have these gears installed and the 1st to have them installed on a manual transmission, so it will feel like a big accomplishment for me trying to push the envelope with these II Gens.

Very nice Stephen! I'm really looking forward to seeing you and your truck on the trail. You think you might be able to get out to Rausch for the January run if all works out?

I now have the 4.56 gears and ARB locker installed in my M226! I got my power back and now I can shift just like I did when it was stock. And, as I suspected, I can actually use 6th gear again! The ARB compressor is also installed to run the locker and an airline for filling up tires or anything else.
The 4.56 gears are installed in the M205, but I will need a new pinion yolk with 29 splines and a 4 bolt end for the front drive shaft. Superior has already had these yolks produced and they should actually be shipping within 1.5 weeks. So, I expect to have everything buttoned up and ready to roll in early December!
OK 4 Wheel Drive did a great job with the install and keeping me informed during the install process. Their work is very clean and runs smooth so far!
I have 4.56 gears and a locker! Yes!
Thanks again to Bryan for driving me in the rainy, traffic ridden night to get me back to my truck!

That's who I figured. Man, I know a few folks questioned his enthusiasm but he has really turned out to be a stand up guy.

I have been driving around with the 4.56 gears for a few weeks now and I am very pleased with the results.
I tested the truck off-road at Rausch Creek and the new gear ratio is amazing in 4LO crawling over the rocks. The ARB locker worked like a charm as well!
I am seeing a typical drop in MPGs, about 2 miles per gallon, but that is to be expected.
The regained power is amazing and I am very happy that this long process finally yielded some kick ass results.
I recommend this gear upgrade to anyone who is serious about off-roading.
