Mohit, another guy & I did an impromptu ride today... We rode the Storm King Highway (awesome but too short), NY route 97 north from Port Jervis (had a fantastic twisty mountain section, again too short. The rest of 97 of boring).
Route NY 17a, 15a East (which were nice) and finally on route 44 back to CT.
Was a long day but we had great weather & rode some nice roads.
Hoping to find some more twisty roads like the Storm King Hwy.
The rest of Sept is full for me, hopefully you guys do the ride.

I am assuming that stretch you did on Rt 97 was the area known as Hawks' Nest. Short, but very twisty. Very well known among motorcyclists.
17A is a good run, especially from 17 at Sterling Forrest and going through to Warwick.
Another road of interest in the area would be Seven Lakes Drive through Harriman State Park, A little more in NJ, from Vernon and heading southwest, is Route 517. Plenty of good roads in the Catskills.
