Another great time! I know I say it almost every year but I believe this was the best wheeling ECXC I've attended to date! I ran some crazy Black trails with some crazy friends and, I far as I can tell, only minimum damage! Thank you North East Xterra Club, It’s Officers; President, Mike (mtdewmike) and Vice President, Suresh (DirtySocks), Treasurer, Tiffany (mainechick) and Secretary, Eric Romeo (RomeoEJ). Great time as always!! Good catching up with everyone! Big thanks to the organizers and of course a shout out to all the vendors/sponsors! I always hate leaving but always look forward to the next run. Thank you all for being a part of it! I love you all!

Had an incredibly wonderful time with y'all. Did some great trails (most of which I didn't do last year), got to catch up qith friends, and made a lot of memories. Thank you to the events committee and the officers for putting together another fantastic year. And a huge thank you to all the sponsors and supporters who also made this possible for us. Miss you all sooooo much already!!! |

I fully agree with everyone, it was an awesome event!!! Thank you all who lent a hand (organizers, sponsors, trail leaders, attendees) in planning & running the event. It was nuts at certain points, but came out perfect. Mike - thanks for leading entire effort & for the countless unseen hours of work you put into it. Sponsors - you are awesome!! I sound like Tom now, as I think I'm repeating myself from last year, but I really had a great time this year! Aside from the HOT weather, everything else was fantastic - from you the attendees, to all the events committee members who helped pitched in over the course of the event, to the event sponsors and the items they donated to the raffle, the great food on Saturday night, the trail groups - it all came together very nicely. I'm going to get a little mushy now. It's been a few years since I've had my truck at ECXC, for various reasons. It was nice to finally have it back there this year. Over the course of the event, I thought back to my first ECXC in 2009, and how I was one of the new guys. My trail leader - Dave Cheli - left a very positive, lasting impression on me. This past week, I lead a stock group on Thursday and Friday, and I was the one teaching the new guys some of the ropes to wheeling. I'm no expert by any means, but I'm glad I was able to pass along what I've learned over the years to others. And I hope they get to do the same later down the road, as they build up their own experience, knowledge and confidence in wheeling. Thank you all for another great ECXC! You all helped make this a successful event! |

A belated thank you to everyone that continues to keep ECXC going. I had a 2-year hiatus and it was great to be back on the trails with familiar faces and new. I won't be there next year, taking the family back to my home turf in TN for the 8/21 total eclipse, not gonna miss that! I suspect 2018 will be Connor's first year as the attendee and I'll be riding shotgun most of the time. Time to pass the torch  Good luck next year! May the weather be tame and the trails be exciting!
