NEXTerra is a group of Nissan Xterra owners who are passionate about their vehicles and the activities associated with it.
The goal of NEXTerra is to help Xterra owners in the New York and New England get to know each other, exchange information on where to wheel, help each other out with modifications, plan 4x4 off roading trips, and more.
While we are primarly about taking our Xterras off-road, we welcome stock Xterra owners to join the club as well, so that you can take advantage of our forum, a great place to ask about problems you may be having or to learn about after-market products available for the Xterra. We also welcome Pathfinders, Frontier and even Jeep owners!
| 4th Annual Back to School Run

The 4th Annual "Back to School Run" will be held September 19th in West Oneonta, NY.
Everyone who wants to attend will arrive at Scott's house on Friday evening. That's Friday the 18th. We will be camping in Scott's yard. There's plenty enough room for everyone. Saturday morning we will be wheeling and Saturday evening have a BBQ. This day also falls on National Talk like a Pirate Day so don't be affraid to wear some Pirate gear..
The event will cost $25.00. Included with the registration fee is an event t-shirt, an event sticker, dinner on Friday night, a pancake breakfast on Saturday morning and a BBQ on Saturday night. You can't beat that deal!

| Nexterra Wins the ECXC Competition for the 3rd Year

BklynX and Team Nexterra took home their third win in three years as this years East Coast Xterra Challenge Competition.
Tom had these words to say after the event:
Once again I find myself giving praise and thanks to Mike, Will, Mehdi, Brad, Dana, Keith and anyone else the helped put this together. Every year I think that you guys can not possibly do a better job and every you do. Once again I had a great time.
Thanks Dave from Bandit4X4 for looking after me all weekend.
Thanks to my fellow teammates in the challenge; Mike, Jesse and Derrick (Red Sox suck) for your important parts in our third shared victory. We are the ECXC wheeling Gods, the rest of you mere mortals should genuflect in our presence!

After the merger vote was passed, the officers of UNYX and Nexterra worked together to appoint a new slate of officers for the North East Xterra Club. These officers will serve until the first club election is held.

| UNYX Merges With Nexterra

On April 18, 2008, the membership of the Upstate NY Xterra Club voted and approved the merger of the club with the New England Xterra Club to form the North East Xterra Club (Nexterra).
NEXterra and UNYX have enjoyed a symbiotic relationship as sister clubs for several years now. As a combined club, they now have the ability to provide each member far more in benefits than they could individually contribute in time, money and / or resources. The new NEXTerra has the potential to become the largest Xterra club in the nation.
The North East Xterra Club will bear the name NEXterra, but will have updated branding and a new, unified website and forum (http://www.nexterra.org). As we continue to grow, we expect that we'll be able to provide our supporting members and sponsors with the perks and benefits that have, until now, been a challenge offer.
Welcome to the new NEXterra.
