Hey chief, lemme ask you... What exactly was goin on with your PCV/Coolant/Headgasket issue? I changed my PCV last year, but just did an oil change and found some mayonaise in my left valve cover. Dip stick is clean and my antifreeze level is normal. Im thinking its possibly condensation coming from the crack in my oil pan, but idk...
As far as I can tell, it was just caused by a week or two (I forget how long exactly it was) of short drives, never actually long enough to get the truck up to temperature. Couple that with a bad/"worn out" PCV, and I guess that's where the gunk in the oil cap was coming from.
After I did my first coolant flush and fill, and changed the PCV, I never saw the gunk again...of course, it was also around that time that I stopped making such short drives in the truck. Thankfully, I never actually had any head gasket issue.
Do you use Seafoam when you do your oil changes? If not, you may want to start there...do the 1/3'rds method, etc. Maybe change your PCV again? I know you said you just did, but for the cost of the part, who knows; maybe it's faulty? And I'm tempted to say that a cracked oil pan could easily be a culprit, I'm no expert but if any moisture can get in, then you're likely gonna have the mayonnaise.
