Thanks guys! And Mike I'm not sure. I went into it without a deadline so that way everything was taken slow, done right and no mistakes were made. Since the engine its going to be a total rebuild, it really all depends on how good I am at saving my money and the turn around time for parts that I can not actually fix myself. Right now it's looking like $1200 into the engine. (Rephasing the engine and all new electrical system) I'd like to get it running by fall, but we will see

Starting to look good. Keep up the work.
BTW, how hard is it to find parts? I have a 1982 BMW, and while some of the parts are readily available others are unobtanium.

Thanks! It's actually very easy to find parts for this bike, as it's one of the most popular to rebuild, chop, cafe, etc. I suggest doing alot of googling and even joining a forum. Lots of used/new parts, plus they can also steer you in the right direction of where to get parts
