So, for the first time with the new shoes I took it out on the highway.
Between the speeds of 45-60mph I noticed a grinding noise coming from the passenger side front tire. Over 65 and under 45 there is no noticeable sound.
The noise became slightly louder when turning the wheel to the left.
The noise would appear at higher speeds when I hit a bump in the road.
I checked my ball joint and topped off the grease canisters.
Any thoughts?
Some I have are either CV or Brakes.
I did replace my brakes a little while ago, but the speed issue is what seems weird for me.

I'm not mechanically inclined, but is it a metallic noise? Or is it more along the lines of the tire rubbing up against the inner fender?

I would definitely say metallic.

When the wheel weights to see if they are rubbing against your upper control arms.
Or if your backing plates for the brake rotors are bent and coming in contact.
Passenger side has a metal brake line shield.
Remove it, or check if it's loose.
The larger tires may have rubbed against it causing it to loosen up (my money is on this solution)...
Good luck.

I've got an appointment anyway tomorrow, so will chat with them once I get there.
I straightened it out though and took it for a quick ride. No noise on the first test drive.

I've driven the truck now about 40 miles and no sound at all.
I'm just off to Firestone tomorrow to get an alignment and I should be all st.

Glad to hear it was a simple fix.
Enjoy your trip

Well, Firestone said I had a "bent tie rod" and they wouldn't do the alignment.
Their quote for parts and labor to replace just the Drivers Side Tie Rod was $320.
I have a spare one lying around somewhere in my basement. I'll replace it and then go back for an alignment.
Ugh, my struggles never end.
