Hello, new here.
Searched around but didn't see anything related to my problem so here it is.....
Everytime I start the Xterra I get a loud clicking noise under the passenger side dash but after about 4or5 seconds it stops and I don't hear it again until the next time I start up. I have tried to pin point it and it seems to be something, maybe, with the HAVC....don't know but it's driving me crazy!!lol
Thanks for the help,
Craig

I have no idea, but have you tried playing with the controls at start up? If the defroster is on or the air condition is on, it may be a relay cycling. Try it with both on and then off. That may tell you something.

Hey, I have the same problem in my 2005 Xterra, try changing your air vents to your feet, then back to the uppers.
I haven't pulled the dash off to check it, but I have a feeling its the baffle for the air vents.
