I started out camping in a tent. Then I bought a Palomino pop-up from Speedy, then I went back into a tent and then I bought a 1976 Jayco pop-up which is going to be my future flat bed trailer. Then I bought a 1997 Rockwood 23 foot tow behind.

here are 2 pics of the out side I'll post some pics of the inside later.

I keep meaning to buy a new tent but, where I go camping they have has lean-tos, which are much better than a tent. Not sure they'd be too good in southern New England though. At least the cold nights in northern Vermont wipe out the mosquitoes!

Wow, that's nice! Isn't that the one you brought to Scott's?

Did you mean, what do we bring for equipment?

We just bought a new very cool tent. While we still love the tent camping, we are sure to have a nice blow-up bed to lay on. Too old for roots and rocks in the back!!!

I usually like to bring a charcoal grill or cook right over the fire we make...but somehow fell for a guy who likes propane for camping! Ahhhhhhh! It's Okay. Always a lantern. Bug spray, of course. Games. Wow, this is hard. I could make a list a mile long.

As for food and bevvies.....LOTS of water. And for food, burgers and dogs are fine...but boring, I usually have steaks, ribs, chicken. One time, even had a huge pot with crabs and lobster....and of course, corn on the cob in the fire!!! This is another area I could make a huge list.

Tents...the air tent is cool, CO2 and a few seconds and it's up.

I like the old Colman gas lanterns with CO2 cartridges so I don't have to pump. Gas stoves and beer...food...sometimes I remember that.

I have a lot of camping equipment, but mostly the rustic type.

We tent camp, though I'd love to get a pop-up. We have 4 person tent and tons of camping equipment. Haven't tried it with the kids yet though (in other words, we haven't been camping in awhile!).

I usually use a tent but I've used my X as well. Steph and I was looking at the travel trailers in the past and hopefully we'll get one in the near future.

Although I'd hate to tow that sucker around with the gas prices the way they are now..

22ft Outback TT = very nice for the whole family

Still have a tent and various toys/neccessities for roughing it also.

Gas mileage is horrible while towing the TT for anyone wondering

Last year, I bought a starcraft r/t 10 that is freaking awesome.
I still have a tent for B2S runs as well as events where I'm towing the X on the trailer, but when it's just camping with friends, the pop-up is nice to have since it has many of the creature comforts that are very nice to have

No kidding..
There's nothing that compares to sleeping all night in multiple layers, waking up at 5:30a to start the generator, allowing for 30-40 minutes for the heat, refridgerator and water pump to get settled before starting the coffee maker and shower.

This routine got me out the door around 7a so that I could be home by 7p and restart the generator, cranking the heat so that I could pack it in by 10p.

Yeah... camping at home SUCKS
