Old man emu nitrochargers with HD coils. Bought em used as trail spares and then later full time when I mount the winch. I might just swap coils.

If you bought them for the sole purpose of trail spares, then leave them as such. Trail spares are meant to get you out and off the trails when you're in a pinch. Then, once you're off, you figure out the long term solution/replacement part(s) that are needed.

Make sense?

Not the sole purpose. The original thought process was to be prepared for the extra weight of a winch with steel rope. It was going to be a straight swap with the medium coil springs once the winch was in. But now that I'm seeing the bushings, I'm wondering if I should just swap coils, and then the trail spare is the nitrocharger with the loose bushing and medium duty coil...but as you say, only needs to let me limp to the trailhead. Alternatively, I do replace the bushings and then go with the original plan, swapping them out post winch.
