lol

renting one...

repurposed the trailer budget for new rims and meats... 17x8.5" TR Beadlocks & MAXXIS Trepadors 37x12.5-17LT's.... tires due in next week.

now watching email for tracking on the rims... those may be here in time... ... if not, I'll run the 3" Goodyears, sans a spare ;) toss the 33" on the back for looks lol

- remain items...
- drilling T-case tail shaft for SYE.
- SOA in rear, may swap in some 63" Chevy springs... haven't made a decision yet.
- new rear driveshaft...
- retune front shocks (dropping N2 precharge by 25 lbs to 125 PSI, still a little stiff.

(good thing i have some time )

build update...

SOA in rear completed with my previous leaf packs, which dropped from 8 to 5 leaves. along with a few customized parts and new shock mounts.

SYE installed along with new rear driveshaft.

new Maxxis tires are in, with Trail-Gear rims coming on Wednesday as per UPS

Side note - Drove Brutus around the neighborhood, shocking children and scaring their mothers.

Left to do...

- add a little fluid to t-case (some drained out during SYE install)

- install front 20" Limit straps

- adjust front bump stops.

- mount tires on rims and torque a crap ton of bolts, a task I will greatly enjoy!.

- then do a check of all fasteners on the truck.

load truck and spares for trip to PA... it's been awhile.

:givemebeer:

Looking forward to seeing it, Dave. Last time I rode in that truck was back in 2009.

LOL yep know the feeling....
you feel like your riding on top of a bobble head doll
or one of those playground rocking ponies mounted on a coil spring ...lol
when turning it just keeps leaning over and leaning over...lol
