April Fools Run 2015 Location Has Moved !!

I agree safety is number 1, it will be fun at either location. I just thought the decision was going to be made closer to the event (3/29, as he mentioned). But all is good, we will all have fun!

What would you guys recommend for night before/morning of prep? Are there any absolutely must-haves while on the train? I am very tight on money so I mean absolutely... I have recovery points on the front via Shrock.

Freetown is a good little bunch of trails. Nothing should punish your rig. Have a tow strap if you don't all ready. Beyond that, a rear recovery point would be nice but if you don't have one I wouldn't worry about it too much. The run was switched to Freetown so it would be more stock friendly.

6 Hours round trip for us. I would love to make it out there but the drive back from the Toy's 4 Tot's run nearly killed me. Going to have bow out of this one. Have fun guys and gals!

What about the people who already paid for the land use before the area was changed, will we be seeing some sort of reimbursement?

If you have a hitch, a simple D-ring receiver works well for rear recovery. For this run, make sure your rig is in good, safe running condition, correct sized spare & have enough gas to get out.

Did you PayPal the money? If so, yes, you should be getting the land use fee back.

Full tank of gas, drinking water, pack a lunch. Have warm clothes and something waterproof. That is as basic as it gets.
