through kept seeing glimpses outside the window as he winded
through the forest. Speeding up, he saw a dark figure step out
of the forest and keep up with his car with little effort and then
disappear. Other cars have been known to break down or have
their lights mysteriously go out."

On another note, I'm new to this site. I've been on www.thenewx.org for a while now. I have a 2007 Xterra. Xoskel light cage with 4 KCs. Daystar 2" shackle/spacer lift. Various other delete mods.

I live in Weymouth, MA and I love to fish, cook, and tinker with my X.

In the middle of the night?

I'm a good way into my book already. It mostly talks about the native american hauntings in Freetown forest. Numerous people have reported campfires in the distance, that will slowly fade into nothing when approached. A lot of people hear ceremonial drums coming from nowhere.

The Mary Lou Arruda girl was supposedly tied to a tree and beaten. She was left that way, and eventually strangled herself since she couldn't stand up any longer.

So what we're thinking is that once we do the Taunton portion of the run, we'll meet back up at the McDonalds parking lot for a quick break. Folks may choose to eat at that time. Bring a sandwich or buy from McDonalds. Burger King, subway & Dunkin donuts are close by too.

Those of us who want to continue, can then head over to Freetown... & potentially meet the ghosts!
