We are having an other Duel trail, Spring run Event for April 9th.

In the North Western area , the run will be held in NY at Roby's Property

In the North Eastern area the run can be held as a Stocker Friendly Run
doing some unmatained town roads in Taunton and Freetown Ma.
Or
As a Modified Rig ONLY Run at MaBell
MaBell Rig Limits....32" or greater tires, Pml or larger, Full Armor is a must ,Sliders and a locker or winch suggested.
Damage can occur and trail experence highly reccomended.

Gremlin Graveyard is closed for April do to the Mud Season

I am happy to Lead either Trails so let me know what everyone would like.

Please vote in the poll for the North Eastern part of the run
and post-up and questions or comments on any of the runs.

Thanks Ernie

Ernie, I have heard some others talking about how difficult MaBell can be. I will have sliders on by that date and hopefully if money is good then I will have my gas tank and transfer case skid on. Now with me not having a locker or a winch would running there still be a good idea? If that is were the run is held I wouldn't want to hold the group up. Just wondering here, I will try and find some pics or videos of MaBell to see what it would be like. Thanks

Oh I will be up for this.. just dont know which area I would go yet...

Hoodie, if you remember how mine is setup, I ran mabell last spring, I do have a winch and did use it but it was to help someone else in a unfortunate situation. I highly recommend armour.. I think I used every skid. There are some go around spots, they still give you a challange though.

Since I'm pretty much stock, I'm in for the stocker run. Or if the stocker run is called off, maybe hop in with someone who has a free seat for the modified one.

Man, I would love to run OFR, but with only factory skids and no sliders there is no way. I ran it back in 06 and it took 5 hours to run it which is about 2.5 to 3 miles. If there is even the slightest bit of moisture up there the trail becomes crazy dificult. I'm sure in April there will be a lot of running water and snow still on the trail.

Not trying to be a pessimist but I think we should save OFR for later in the year as it would prob be a day of carnage and breakage early in the year.

If we do go in the Spring be ready to stack rocks all day.

I'm down for NY though. Will that include a night of camping and a group fire/party?

I don't see this as an option...we're not in MA.

I left the options open to everyone, but the majority or weather will rule for the April Run.
Yes , we will be running MaBell this Year and OFR too.
Yes, in all honesty MaBell and OFR are harder trails and will be much more difficult in April weather.
I hate to see unwanted carnage and breakage do to trail conditions.
also trying to repair those vehicles in freezing cold weather.

Don't worry...
There will be many runs this year, as I compile some dates and places
I will post up a list.
There will be a few new trails available that I have to review, so we will have more places to wheel this year.

There is Roby's in NY for one run location....Run 1
and
then the 2 options for a Ma. run location..... Run...2

Mark me as a definate ride along for the modified trail - since I'm student Teaching and not earning any money until mid-May at the earliest, I can not afford to break anything.
Taking pictures, spotting, riding along - those I can do.

Thats Great to know :D
If you want to check out MaBell next month sometime that would be great.
Mud and water in the valleys make the ledges very slick to climb

OFR and Tunnel road will def be a warmer weather run for us.
any Ice or snow make the ledges almost impossible there.
