Last time I was at this place with Scott and Micah it was pretty littered with garbage.

Tomorrow I'm just gonna go for a few hours and do a trail clean up as much as I can.

Obviously I'm not expecting anyone to make it. I know it's a hike and last minute notice but I thought I would throw this out there for some people incase they were looking for something to do. (mostly for the locals hehe).

I hit the trail around 10:00 or so. Collected about 2 bags of garbage, 1 bag of returnable cans and bottles, 2 wheels, and a lamp.

Then Lance called and wanted to join me. So we met at the Mobil and hit up the trail again. Removed about 7 more bags of garbage. 3 bags of returnable bottles and cans and other misc junk.

Collected $6 worth of returnables, so that will go towards the club money. I know it's not a lot...but it's more than nothing.

Thanks for going Lance, I had a great time and it was nice to meet you.

Good. Work. Should be bring trash bags on the run and just pick up what we can when we are all standing around?

No problem, I actually enjoyed it. Blu was tearing it up and it was a beautiful day out.

No, Keith. We got a majority of it. There were some car batteries and HUGE pieces of plastic that were back there, some folding chairs...just crazy how much junk there.

In my head I'm thinking about taking like a monthly trip there and try to get some of the big stuff out. Is this a realistic thought? Probably not...but I'll do the best I can. :)

Wow Jeff, thats very admirable of you. You too Lance. That would make a great article promoting environmentally conscious offroaders, instead of publicizing detrimental effects. Is that all state land?

People treat public land like they treat their office fridge or microwave. I will make a mess an someone else will clean it up.

I know Dan likes to stop ever 100 yards or so. Get out BS for 20 minutes then get back in. Me I just like to wheel. However, I have been the cause for a lot of stopping.
