Just got off the phone with Blaine (Service Manager) and Nissan is not going to cover the wheel. But he talked with Teddy (the owner) about it and he's gonig to pay for it.

I just have to pay labor, $16 to put the tire on.

Not too shabby I must say.

pretty nice since you didn't even buy your truck there!

Man I rotated my tires last night and spend the majority of the time getting the mud off my rotors and brake components. Left 4 nice little piles of dirt in my in-laws driveway.

True, but they hadn't even completed their building when I bought mine.

That was the least they could have done. It makes up for them not coming out to see us. (That and the nissan shirt I am waiting on) :)

I ordered my spare tire a few days ago. $143.10 after s/h. Not too bad, I don't think.

I really like these tires so I'm gonna stick with them. Problem is I've only found one place that sells them!

A week later and my order was still pending. So I called them and they said they don't sell tires anymore!

Nice of them to tell me! That's only place I've seen to sell that tires. SUCK!

Jeff,
You dont have to match the brand and type of tire for your spare... just the size.
Just get a typical M/T tire and call it done. ;)

At least Nissan is doing the right thing after jerking us around for an hour. Glad to hear.

I know they don't HAVE to match...but they DO. I'm anal about things like that..

I found out the tire is actually made by Kelly Tires. And a place local can get them.

The link that's posted is for the 'newer' model of the same tire. $168 mounted and balanced.

LOL, that?s great news Jeff; I can now take you off my list. :D Does the Jack that came with your truck work with the larger tires or did you have to buy a different one?

If you don?t know whether the Jack you have works or not I?m afraid I?ll have to put you back on the list.

It will barely works with the 32's on the OR. Plus because he has his rear sway bar removed it won't work.

Looks like you are back on the Tom's list.

No, it does not work with my truck. It barely worked with 31" tires. So, since I do know that, I can stay off your list. :)

If I"someone? didn?t know that their Jack was useless, hmmm , I?m sorry but that would be reason enough to make the list. At least until that person got a Jack that worked.
Image hint, hint.

If I knew that I could not change a flat on my truck and went wheeling. Or drove it, in a non- emergency situation, with my beautiful family in tow and there was a possibility that we could get stranded, well I would be on a whole new kind of list, wouldn?t you agree? :D
