Still up in the air if we will be making this one...not sure that Patchy can get the day off (and Lord forbid the date change)...fingers crossed we'll see y'all there with a few sets of paws in tow!

There's been no date change for NER....unless you mixed up the MA & PA dates.

Screw it. We're in.

One more run before I order new leaf springs.

I'll bite, 4wdtravel what have you done to your X to have her set up for the Black trials? and why would you be courting that kind of body damage with a 2014 Xterra?

Black - trails include very large rocks, very off-camber sections and are usually tight to make them that much harder. 33" tires or larger aggressive tires, 1 locking device OR a winch and undercarriage and rocker panel protection is required. Aftermarket front bumper recommended. Likelihood of getting stuck is high. Body damage should be expected.

Me, I'm playing it by ear, it's still duck season and ice fishing may be in full swing by then.

No matter what you signed up for we will be running the same basic trails.
the black obsticails will be optional if you feel that it is something you wish to try.
the questions were brought up in concern for you and your rig.
most black options are not run in the winter if there is snow.
we try and point everyone in the safest and best options for them if we can.
that may be why you see no other Xs signed up for blacks .

I second what Ernie just said... regardless of what you've signed up for, you'll have plenty of challenge. Looking forward to seeing everyone in Jan!!

It looks like we will split into two groups after the air down and drivers meeting.
depending on trail conditions, we will see what we can run for the day.
one group will go south and the other north
hopefully we can all meet back at the landing for lunch and then play in the lower sections after that.
see you all there soon
have a great x-mas :santa:
