Yea Friday was day from hell. Thursday worked till midnight after work did skids, lube, oil change and pack spares. Friday morning went to go grab liquor and other goodies. Got to the gas station, by the time I came out she was spitting out oil. Got back home I sat down to make a call and all the electric on the nature block went out. Went into garage to check breakers, somehow my garage still had power go figure. So I took skids off, found the hole, must have been some rust that I wiped off after cleaning the pan during oil change. Tommy stopped by to evaluate. Couldn't find oil pan locally. Then my girl made a call and got one. Started stripping truck around noon. Finished at 3:30, left to Queens to get pan 1hr there, 1hr back. Started prep seals and pan at 6. Sergio came to assist. Had slight issue w starter after pan install, the bell housing plates were not properly aligned. Had high pitch metal screech on crank. That ate an hour. The rest went together but tools & bolts would disappear then re appear. It was weird. Finished around 2 am, skids and all. Had ran engine after starter install for 30 minutes, everything was OK. Got on the road at 3:30am and caravaned out. Got an hour out of 78 in NJ stopped for bathroom, went to check pan and entire undercarriage covered in oil. Not much of a drip though. Dipstick isn't accurate when hot but we pulled it and it was dry. By this time I was spent. Zero tolerance zero energy. Didn't see reason to drain. Decided to throw a liter in and turn back. Got home at 6 am, drained pan, and it was full!!! Plus the liter! FML pulling skids tomorrow and power washing undercarriage to evaluate further FML
