I?d like to make sure we have enough suckers... I mean good folks to lead groups so if you could post up what type of trials you plan to run it would help.
Wheeling in the winter is a bit crazy but it all depends on the weather. If it hasn?t snowed it?s not that different except its cold and mud/water is ice. If it has snowed it gets crazier as the snow gets deeper. Sometimes Green trails become Blacks because going up and down hills gets a bit tricky when its slick. Sometimes Blacks can become Blues, Blues can become Green because the snow and ice fill the voids in the rocks and flatten out the trail. I could go on and on about the differences but the main reason I like to go is that since I am somewhat limited to access of land to enjoy in the northeast the change of season is really my only opportunity for some kind of variety.
If you?re not sure check the Rausch F.A.Q. Thread and if you still aren?t sure it is better that you ask here now rather than in the Rausch parking lot the day of the event.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA Bring on the hard stuff, or at least whatever trails I can hope to pull you out of Tom. now that I said this, Im sure its gonna backfire on me and Ill probally be the one getting recovered lol.

There are some good green trails there.. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I'll say stock for now but may do intermediates depending on group sizes and conditions.

Juust an fyi, there hasnt been much snow at all round here yet, and even less just south of me (where RC is). temps have been cold enough to keep things frozen though. I did post up the info for the traffic cam at the RC exit from I-81 and if I remember I will try and post up the snow status as it gets closer.
