I am getting my rear leaf springs re-arched tomorrow and will need help re-installing them after the modification as it is a two person job. I would like to get some help Friday. Is anyone free? If not, I suppose I could do it Monday, but I'd like to get it done Friday.

That would hard to do seeing as the truck will have no rear leaf springs, thus making it hard to drive up to NYC to install said rear leaf springs.

I may be postponing this leaf pack install until Monday.


I want to clean up, sand and repaint my shackles as well as my newly improved leaf packs before installation.

I had to cut the U-Bolts off as they were torqued beyond removal. I got the nuts loose via an impact socket 1/2 ratchet and a 3' foot cheater pipe, but then it started bended the U-Bolts with all the rust and oxidation on them.







So, I am sitting at Stengel Brothers Leaf Spring shop in Allentown while they re-arch them 2"s and add-a-leaf to them. I will getting new U-Bolts too.
