Needles in the hip, not the ass, the hip.

I hope he never plays again.

The campground in Vermont I usually go to closed a section, the section I always camp in. I was going to get a water front site this year but it appears the whole world is going camping this summer. I looked at Vermont State Parks, evry waterfront site is reserved already! Except for the tent sites. Maybe everyone figures with the economy it might be cheaper to go camping for a summer vacation. There are some great campsites along Lake Champlain. I like this site-

Before my wife and I had our (currently 5-year-old) daughter, we used to go (car) camping at Mattawamkeag Wilderness Park in Maine (on the east side of the state near Lincoln). It was about 8 miles down a logging road and fairly secluded. We used to get a site (it was site#37 at the time) that was near the Mattawamkeag River. When we went slept in the tent at night, we could hear the sound of the rapids - it put us right to sleep.

We haven't been there in quite a few years, but we hope to take our daughter up there in a couple years or so. I am not sure if it has changed any (e.g., paving the logging road), but I hope they maintained that "wilderness" feel of the place. I believe they have a website - I should check it out.
