If anyone can give an example of the 1st gen eng/trans Shrock u-bolt plates required I would greatly appreciate it. I saw the link in a past thread that directed me to the stainless u-bolts just would like a visual on the plates.

Off hand without going out in the dark to measure them or anything....They're basically just flat pieces of steel with holes drilled in them to accept the u bolts. They're maybe 1/8" thick??
I hope this helps you.

Cleaning up the skids I got from Derek. Rome was not built in a day.

Got some frame paint on one side at least. These are a great jump start.

You know, things just started falling into place. It was where I was headed anyway and I saved some serious dough by being aware of the market. Now I just need to get everything on. I'm mechanically challenged and it may take a day but I'm going to remain optimistic.

Edit: Just put the sliders on. That was not easy lining up those holes. Lol

Thanks for the tip. That was the plan. Yesterday I failed to get the OEM fuel tank skid off, one bolt just would not give after multiple PB Blaster soakings. In a holding pattern now.

Updated my to-do list above.

Also one item that was not on the list, installed a Draw-Tite class 3 rear hitch a couple weeks ago. Hope I don't need it but had I not done it I surely would have.

Ordered the kit moments ago w/new brake lines and have found a shop do the 3" suspension lift.
