Took me a minute to remember what thread I was in...forgot this was an FJ and I'm like "WTF Xterra looks like that on the inside?"

That overhead console is pretty nice!

2 Things.

1. I think you could have turned the CB off after the first few seconds.

2. Do you use the driver's side sun visor a lot? Do you think it's going to be a pain to move the CB mic each time?

Agreed, thought the same thing after watching the video, too lazy to take another one

I never use it, I had an over-sized clip on mirror over the factory one for the last few years, was not possible to use either visor at all at that time. So atleast I can use it if I move the mic, the passenger is more likely to use it now.

There is a cross beam along the roof and lip over the windshield, 1/4 plywood fits in there and the console mounts to it.
