If you plan on offroading the truck, the first thing I would do is ditch the brush guard. Yes, they look cool, but they do more damage than good. The limit your approach angle and, when hit low, can push the entire brush guard into you hood/light area. |

Looks good! When you get ready to wheel keep in mind the stock step rails don't help protect when going over rocks or other obsticles, they bend very easily and could do more harm then good.. but on that note.. the first couple of months I wheeled my xterra I had the stock rails and was just very aware and careful. |

I Just Removed The Step Rails Today, I Love The Look And Knowing I Won't Mess Up My Ride. Thank God For PB Blaster! And I'm Actually Buying A New Front Bumper This Weekend, So The Brush Guard And Plastic Will Be All Gone |
