Updated again, with more Plasti-Dip! Full plastics blackout plus green side steps and grille sections:  Was thinking about doing the bumper too, but I ran out of 'Dip as I finished the bumper step so I figured I'd leave it for another day (or keep it the way it is).  Also Dipped the hook:  At this point I'm very strongly considering spraying the rest of the truck with clear Plasti-Dip and seriously changing my name to ThePlastiDippedOne. |

Thanks to dave99w for a new rear bumper, rcheliman for RockyMtnX recovery brackets, and RockyMtnX himself for some shackles, I have a rear recovery system!  Preparing to swap...  And done! Also did my Southco handle while I was at it. |

White Knuckles soft-mounted (haven't drilled the frame yet)!    Driver's step is in a perfect place (gonna get some grip tape for it).  Back not quite, but that's the design. Still gives me a great leg up to the roof though.

So here's my general plan for 2013.  For the front, my Dually Dam (as described in this thread) and yellow fog lights in the bumper mouth. The fogs are mostly for looks, so I'm going to go the frugal route and get this and remove the lights from the housing (maybe upgrade the bulbs). I'll do my own bumper mouth bracket. And here's the back  Drop-'n-swing tire carrier as described in this thread, welded on top of my recovery tabs. License plate relocated to the swing arm, with a 6"-12" light bar in the license plate well. Then I'll finally wire up my auxiliary brake/turn signals on the roof. So that's the major stuff. Somewhere in all of that I'm going to fit in some adjustable shackles and maybe 1/2" or 1" spacers up front, then it's time for Duratracs! Thoughts? |

Coming soon (here now?)    Debating if I should put a bar across the bottom or not, though that could always come later. Gonna try and get them (there's two) painted and installed for Fool's Run, but even if they're not ready I'll bring them so y'all can ooo and aah. And credit where credit's due: that's Xterra_Mayo's old air dam. |
