Dropped off the new to me Jeep at a local shop to have a lift added on. Looking forward to getting it back soon.

These are what’s going on it:
[list] Metalcloak 3.5” Game changer lift system w/ Rockport shocks, arms, track bars, etc.
[list] 35” BFG KM3s on KMC wheels
[list] Full skids
[list] Gussetted front axle C’s
[list] Ball joints

Once I get it back, will install the winch & tune the CB. The CB was giving me some horrible SWR reading that I need to resolve.

Excited to get it back & also for a shakedown run when possible after.

(Corrected) KMC XD139 Portal - in 17” & 4.5 backspacing. A little bling bling satin bronze finish.

I haven’t seen it in person yet...had every thing shipped to the shop & didn’t want to visit unnecessarily because of Covid-19.

I like that color patter on the wheels, Suresh.

Couple more shots from the shop. Almost feel sorry to scratch those shiny skids....almost.

Should get it back tonight or tomorrow...can’t wait.

Once I get it back - will be installing a front winch plate, re-installing my winch, CB, extending the breather hoses, installing longer spare tire isolators, trailer hitch, mounting the fire extinguisher & HiLift in the back cargo area.

And then.... ready for a shakedown run at the mall!! :-)

The lift & the skids are from Metalcloak.

Their 2.5” lift was what I was eyeing for the 2door, but went with the 3.5” for this because of the longer wheelbase on the 4door.

Wow, those are really nice. I especially like the “Boat-Sided” sections.
I’m interested about how the "skid guard washers" and Allen bolt heads used to mount the skids work out. I’ve never had success with similar hardware on skids. I know they survive the abuse and therefore hold better but I’ve never been able to get them off easily. Much harder to cut once they’ve been smashed up than a wrecked standard bolt head.
