Thanks Tiff. Maybe it will help to get the freaking Amish buggies to move over!

Dad and I built a rack for the rear cargo area. 3/4 inch steel and 1/4 inch plywood for the deck. Top rail folds down for easy loading and unloading. It will get painter when it warms up in the spring.

Damn, Tom! It's full already! :) Nice work, and I like the idea of the fold down rail.

Thanks guys, I had to test it at the Exposure run. I worked great! Held all my tools with no problem. I need to get a net made for it now.

Nice! You obviously don't care about the weight of your X. LOL

The rack is pretty light, 3/4" thin wall steel. And no, not too concerned about weight since I don't drive it much any more.

Tom said I needed a winch if I was going to do the harder trails and he is right.

So I bought a RockyMtnX winch mount and an Engo 10,000lb winch with synthetic rope and had it integrated into my bumper. The winch mount fit perfectly between the upright tubes of my bumper. With a little cutting and welding this is the result.

still need to make a skid for the bottom of the mount down to the rad skid and repaint.

Looks great, Tom! Did you have to fab up those two new plates in the bumper, or were you able to order those?

the front plate that conceals the winch is the one that was there, just cut and welded to fit with the winch mount.
