I’m hoping they work as advertised.... am a little worried about those bolts, specially since they are in the belly area where the skids normally take a beating. Only time will tell.

Metalcloak has a good reputation for quality stuff & I expect them to hold up well. Lets see how things hold up in a year or two from now.

Hey Suresh, where's this shop? Do you have any contact info? I'm thinking about saying f it and just dropping off the X with a mountain of parts and have them call me when it's done lol.

Edit: Oh, and DAMN that looks good!

Valley Truck & Offroad in Elington, CT
43 Lower Butcher Rd
Elington CT
Shop phone - 860-872-0004
Brent Moser - 860-558-1479

Brent is the owner & the guy to talk to. Not sure how many guys work for him, I’ve seen two...but they are always busy. Lots of big mud trucks always present. There’s no ‘office staff’ so might need to leave a message. He’ll reply by the end of the day. Kept me updated via texts & calls through the few days he had my Jeep in the shop.

IMO reasonable labor & doesn’t overcharge. Knows what he’s doing & doesn’t mess around.

Additional discussion about the shop moved to viewtopic.php?t=10159.

Suresh, are you going to change out the fender flares like you did on your previous rig?

The flat fenders on my 2door were primarily for tire clearance. I shouldn’t need additional clearance with the current set up...but the passenger flare does tend to contact trees quite often. I’ll wait till they get beat up/damaged before thinking about replacing them.

Ah, makes sense.

On another note - you should change that red Rubicon sticker to a bronze one.

Just sayin...
