My wife wants to get me a yakima roof rack for christmas. She asked my father to buy it. Courtesy parts wants $125 for shipping does anyone know where else i can get this without getting shafted on the shipping?

Yakima stuff isn't cheap, but IMHO they make the best racks and I have owned them all.

I agree with Micah. Gandor Mtn. sells them and has decent prices and usually has a good selection of parts. :D

Thanks for the help. I am not suppost to know about it but my father thought it was ridiclous shipping fee.

Do they make the rack specific for the X or any general rack?

I will try our local camping/outdoor store.

thule stuff is where its at. were i work we sell the thule ski rack and the clamp u need and locks for like 175.

Thanks, but I really need the basket. I already have a ski rack for my hitch. With the basket I can mount lights, shovels, spare tire, etc...

Where do you work? Princeton ski shop?

no i work at a high end shop called pedigree. we only have three stores. but we dont carry any of the same stock as princeton. hence the high end
