Well excited to get my shrockworks front bumper set up by this weekend, i recieved a notice back saying my returning address was invalid, therefore delayed the shipping...fault on my end. All that needs to be done is reorder with correct shipping adress and should recieve it well before the beach run.

My only hesitant now is that someone mentioned to me about Calmini's version of a front bumper. It's also completly bolt on and suppos. only difference is that shrockworks gives you better departure angles. Looking on Calmini's website i noticed that there bumper is a lot cheaper than shrockworks. Does cheaper have anything to do with the quality?

Just wanted to know the pro's and con's b/w the 2.. reviews on what your riding with.
Pic's would be great. :)

Are you saying you?ll have it before the run on the April 5th? I wouldn?t get my hopes up if that?s the case my friend. Never the less; the Shrockworks bumper is what most folks here have (including me) and I can guarantee that there will not be any negative reviews on this board. I don?t know anyone running the Calmini bumper.

My Shrock bumper is awesome,it was a great investment. The only thing that bugged me was at the time I bought it they didn't offer a bumper for a 3"BL which I have so I got the bumper for the 2"BL and Speedy modified it to fit the 3"BL my X has.I'd reccomend the Shrock bumper you won't be disappointed.

Do you have a winch in your bumper?

I know a few people who run the Calmini Front bumper - they like it.

Other than the approach angle, the only other difference is that the Shrocks bumper allows you to mount additional lights on it, but the Calmini Bumper requires the purchase of a light bar first - bringing the difference in price down to $10.

The calmini bumper doesn't have any recovery points on it, does it?

Well the whole bumper situation for me has been settled. Im gonna prob end up not gettting either of the 2 :( ... I'm heading up to school next year and won't be bringing my truck with till 2nd semester from the looks of things. it's not worth spending the cash now, if i'd only really get to put it to good use for bout a month or 2.

Come december mabe. We'll see what happens, and maybe if i save up i can put all my good hard earned cash to a pair of sliders tooo :D lol
