I'm thinking of getting me a set as my tires could pass for slicks.
Anyone here good/bad things about them?
They have a great deal of buy 3 get 1 free going on right now.

I've heard decent reviews about the newer "extreme" MT. I know the older model MT always had the reputation of being rock hard, so pretty good onroad but seriously lacking off.
One thing though; usually when they offer the 3/1 deal they'll end up marking the tires up a bit so the deal isn't really as great as it seems...

A guy at work has them... they are a little more softer on a durometer scale.
I personally would go Xterrain.

Yea, I'm reading that people go through them pretty quick for daily drivers. Not sure I want to go that route.

my buddy just had to replace his xterrains on his daily driver. he only had a max of 15000 miles on them. they were pretty much useless offroad. he traded them out for 35x12.50 15 bfg mt's.

That's good to know... funny, they look like they'd be good.

look at maxxis, kumho, or BFG. The first two are fairly inexpensive.

Actually I've heard that the prices on BFG MT KM's are going down now that the KM2's are out...

The procomps look good, but the last 2 reviews that I read in offroad mags scored them pretty low. The biggest issue was they clogged w/mud and didn't clear it very well.

I don't think what type of MT you had yesterday.... it was almost impossible to clean them out.
I just go for a even tread pattern for wear, and chunky side walls...
