Thought this was pretty funny. :)

"New York state license plates bearing the logo of the Boston Red Sox? Fuh-gitta-bout-it!

A pair of state lawmakers had planned to introduce a bill in the Legislature that would prohibit New York's Department of Motor Vehicles from issuing license plates bearing the Red Sox logo.

The Boston-bashing measure is co-sponsored by Republican Assemblyman Roy McDonald of Saratoga County and Democratic Assemblyman Ivan Lafayette of Queens.

McDonald told the Post Star that the proposal was a tongue-and-cheek attempt to lighten things up in Albany after the long effort to get a state budget passed. Lafayette said it's just another way to pump up the Yankees-Red Sox rivalry as baseball season opens.

Turns out it's a moot point. DMV officials said Major League Baseball no longer allows New York to issue new license plates with logos of teams outside the state."

*points and laughs at Scott*

Too funny! Just typical, legislatures always late, trying to pass moot laws.

Jets do practice in Hemstead, NY. However, after the new stadium in East Rutherford is built they will practice in NJ.

Yeah really. It should be.

Of course, the bigger issue is why anyone would waste money on a MLB license plate to begin with.

Yea! Those fools! Oh wait, I have one. But at least the team I picked is a WINNING team. How'd those Browns fair last year? Wasn't it last in their division? :P

Toche' Of course then, Jeff, you picked an expensive team. Hey, we can steal any player, and we have the money to do it.

No arguing that Steinbrenner puts his money where is mouth is. At least we know every year at the trade deadline he is going to improve the team for a championship run.
