If the fall at the end of the season wasn’t bad enough… First I hear that during games the Sox pitchers drank beer, ate fried chicken and played video games in the clubhouse on days they did not start. Then Terry Francona (IMHO one of the best MLB mangers in todays game) leaves and now there seems to be an attempt to smear his reputation. Then Theo Epstein goes to the Cubs… …and now I’ve heard rumors of Big Papi coming to the Yankees???? I swear to you I find only the slightest bit of pleasure in your pain and it’s more because its not the Yankees this shit is happening with (because it sounds more like the normal Yankee bullshit they put me through year after year than something the Sox would be going through). What’s your take? From a NY perspective it seemed that until the end of the season the Sox were rolling and I did not see the exodus coming at all, what happened? |

The sox did what they always do.. Choke... I love the team and will stay a fan.. I just know that I can only enjoy the season for a while. |

It's part of being a Red Sox fan. We're used to it. As far as the beer, fried chicken and video games...are these guys getting paid to work? Big bucks I might say...who's watching the ship? |

Drama, drama, drama. What the Sox need is a owner like Steinbrenner. John Henry showed up unannounced at one of the local sports radio stations and he couldn't answer half the questions. He just repeated their question. He has too many interests, the soccer team in Liverpool, Rausch Racing....etc. How is it possible that no one knew about players drinking, gaining weight through the season and playing video games during a game??? Ownership is stating that it's the media is making up stories. Okay so, why did the GM, pitching coach and Manager leave? Why did the team choke so bad in September? I've been saying this the last two years, I liked it better when they were losing. No pink hats, no Sweet Caroline and there were no egotistical jackass players. We had some good players and hard working players that had character and would do whatever it takes to win. |
