Montreal and Boston is always a crazy game. They hate each other. Most folks in Boston hate Montreal even more than the Yankees.

The real rivalry in Montreal is with Toronto or Ottawa.... Montreal been french & having a grudge against english speaking Canada! You want to see violent hockey... those are the best games ever!

The only grudge I have against Bruins fan is a personal experience.... a couple of my school buddies came down here for a hockey game a year before I moved here... I couldn't come & I thank god on a regular basis for it!
Although these particular friends are non violent & I can garanty they weren't looking for trouble.... they were thrown beer at them... pushed around in the hallways.... & some douchebag sitting behind them in the stands pulled his schlong out & peed on a girl that was wearing a habs jersey......
Now if someone would have done something like that when I was there, or peed on Crystal.... I'd be doing a 25 year stretch - I can garanty that!

Well UFC is fighting... We were hosting UFC events in Qu?bec years before Boston was!!! When you fight, you expect to get hit, when you play hockey you expect to get body check but what Chara did is not what hockey's about... This last incident is a freaking disgrace to the sport & so is he.

I think he should have been suspended, just to send a message to other players. I think it happened too fast to be intentioanl though. Pacioretty touched the puck at :20.5, at :19.2 he was on the ice. That didn't give Chara much time to plan on pushing an opponent's head into the stanchion. I remember seeing a video of Dale Hunter skating past a bench holding an opponent by the back and the back of the head and guiding him into the stanchion. That, I would say is intentional. Hits from behind, elbows to the head, leaving your feet to hit a player...those are easy to say are intentional. I'm trying to show that I'm not just saying it wasn't intentional because it's a player that is on my home team because it sounds liek a lot of that is going on up north. Everyone I have heard (players, media, etc) are saying the same thing. It sucks to see any player, on any team down on the ice like that but, to flood the Montreal PD 911 system with calls to arrest Chara? That just looked plain stupid.
