I never cared for Manny but I kind of like Ortiz. I was sad when I heard but I'll tell you the truth, I don't give a shit anymore. I believe they were all (major leaguers) on some crap at one point or another during their careers. If you want to diminish what the Red Sox have done in recent years you have to diminish what every winning team has done for the past twenty years. Including the A?s, Reds, Twins, Jays, Braves, D?Backs, Marlins, Dodgers, etc. and the Yankees, shit especially the Yankees. I?m sorry but I had a great time and I?m not giving that shit back. I?m still going to the park, watching a game or just talking about it, I like baseball.

He and Manny were friends on and off the field, after Manny got suspended I knew it was just a matter of time before Ortiz's name came up. Can you blame players though? Take some performance enhancing drugs for a few years, get a big contract and you and your family never worry about money again. Especially all of these guys from the Dominican Republic, do some drugs, go to America make mucho dolares...buy half the country.
