Went to the Jet game on Sunday with my son, my brother-in law and a few other masochistic friends and family. We had a great time. Yeah I know they suck but when I was ten Joe Namath and the Jets won the super bowl and I?ve been waiting for something close to that ever since. :(
Any how someone brought a camera and sent me a couple of pictures of the tailgate I thought I?d share with you;

Sounds like a great time!

Wow, If you were ten, Tom, I was like two. But I remember that.

I remember the pantyhose too.

This reminded me that I forgot to post about my recent roadtrip to Cleveland for the Monday Night Football game where we had the pleasure of watching the Browns beat up on the Giants for the night. We were even on TV for a few seconds! We got there at 1:30pm for the 8:30pm start so needless to say, we were in good spirits by kickoff!

My Dad is a life long Browns fan and my brother and I are the same way. (My Dad's from Western PA and was a kid in the late 50's / early 60's...who else would you cheer for besides the team that won 8 national championships between 1946 and 1964 and had Jim Brown?) We watch the games every week at a bar here in town with a group of about 20 other local fans. We all go out to at least one game a year. It's rough but I couldn't imagine rooting for someone else. At least my Dad got to see them win some championship games when he was a kid....I'm still waiting :cry:

Just the camera angle, he pulled in after I was parked and set up. You could actually walk between the open tire carrier and the mini van. :wink:

I?m hoping the Jets can pull off a miracle tomorrow against the Chargers. If Baltimore can do the same against the Colts I'll have a home AFC Championship game. :D

Hey stranger things have happened!

:roll:

I'll be rooting for you but against Brylon Edwards at the same time. Like last week when the Jets but he dropped a touchdown pass. That was perfect!

FU Mike. They're still in it, your team is watching on TV.

yeah.... They're still in it..

I guess even a blind pig can find a truffle every once in a great while.

Or, is it that if you have 1000 monkey typing over 1000 years, they'll create one of Shakespear's plays?

Either way.. I'm sure the 'L' word (luck) is floating out there.
