I'm glad this is a Sunday night game, the only game being played. Gives everyone the chance to see a historic game. I'll remember that I watched this along with Gretzky's last game, McGwire's #62 and....nah, I won't mention 2004. Enjoy the game Yanks fans and enjoy your new house! :-)

Yeah, I went on Thursday night and watched last night. I have mixed feelings about the whole thing. It?s sad because of all the history, the personal memories and that I?ll be losing the premium seats (field level, first row off the walkway, half way between home and third) I had in my mid week plan. On the other hand they have been letting the place run down a bit since the renovation they did in the seventies. The new stadium should be awesome (if I can afford to get into it). Thanks for the well wishes brother.

I'm glad I got to take Bray once before it comes down. I've got some good pictures from it and look forward to taking him to the new stadium.

I heard some Yankee fans were pissed that YES wouldn't be carrying the game, but I agree that a national TV game was the only way to go out.

Yes, I am biased since I work for ESPN.

I have been fortunate to have visited a couple of new ball parks: Phillies, Houston, and Milwaukee.

I hope the new stadium is on exceeds the quality of those stadiums. All had great amenities and viewing area's. Plus plenty of bathroom facilities.

Jeff is going to kill me.....as much as I love Fenway, the monster, the history, the feel of the old ballpark...I am so sick of getting my nuts squashed and having to basically fold my legs under me to sit in those crappy seats! They were made for people that are an avergae height of 5'2"! there's only so much you can do to an old 'stadium.'
