Even after the "storage fees" they're likely to hit him with, it's not the worst deal in town...

Down at the mass. cape years ago.
they loved the wheelers
the local towing company had an excavator set up to go in there and a flat bed
with a 2,500 min fee.
and the EPO's with a state fine of 500 to 1000 for being in the wetlands.
there was at least 1 to 2 stuck each week ..$$$$

I saw brand new cars with dealer plates test driving wheeling out there.

$16K for a recovery supervisor for a single recovery? Supervisor must not have known what he was doing since it took him 12 hours to pull a jeep from a mud pit.

I must be in the wrong business.

I guess this would be a good time to recommend everyone have a good rear recovery point. Even the pros ripped the DS's jeep up trying to pull it out without anywhere to grab. Oh and don't wheel illegally, and if you do, don't do it alone. And if you do wheel alone, illegally, don't drive into deep mud pits. And if you do wheel alone, illegally, and drive into a deep mud pit, don't call 911 and expect the cops to come help you out. Ain't no one going to be sympathetic.

Expensive lesson!

Scott

If you wheel illegally, you deserve every bit of shit that happens to you.
