A couple of years ago, I traded in my 2005 Yamaha Midnight Warrior as part of a down payment on the truck that I use to tow my X... since then, I've missed having a bike and have occassionally checked around for something that I would like that wouldn't break the bank at the same time.

Earlier this year, I saw that Yamaha had come out with a new bike for 2011 called the Stryker. It's longer and lower than the bike that I used to have as well as is only a 1300cc vs the 1700cc that my old one was. But, as of today the Raven version is sitting in my garage and it is a blast to ride...

Bring on the spring... it's time to get out and enjoy the weather.

I'll take some pictures and post up tomorrow, but I'm already looking forward finding every excuse to get out on the road.

Sweet. We've got to get another "NEXTerra Bike Run" together this summer or at least a meet somewhere central for lunch.

Driving an off road truck to parking lot is a little different than having a destination to ride your road bike to on a sunny Sunday morning wise ass. Kind of like having a place to end up with your snowmobile instead of just riding it in a circle.

And don't worry about being ghay... when you're wearing leather, we all feel special

Thanks... had it out yesterday for my commute to work and it really is a nice ride.

I'm telling myself that it's therapy and helping my overall well-being.
