Well, this HAS been the LOOONGEST two days!

It all started while going to put a trailer hitch on my wife's Yukon yesterday for a Patriot Guard Riders event in a few weeks. I realized I was missing the proper size drill bit for a hole in the frame. The wifey and I went to the hardware store down the street from my garage to get the bit. When we came back out and tried to start the truck, it quit. Thinking it was operator error, I tried again... no dice. No fuel pump either. While waiting for AAA, we walked to Subway for lunch, then to NAPA for my parts. $300 later (for parts), we were getting towed back to my garage. For this repair, the gas tank had to be removed and of course it was full. Let me say that 26 gallons of fuel weighs a TON! he tank finally came out and upon taking the new pump out of the box, I realized it was wrong. Wifey sent on a mission with my brother-in-law for the correct part. The second one was correct, so about 2 hours later, the truck was again running. By now, it is 1130pm and I have not even put my hitch on yet. Hitch was installed without incident (thank GOD because by that time I was about to send the truck down the driveway on fire) and I was home and in bed by 130 this morning.

Today's mission was to go pick up a motorcycle trailer for my newest gift from the wifey. We went to get the trailer, hooked it up.... lights work, everything is on and tight...perfect. All we have to do is go back inside and pay for it. Doors get locked and two steps later I hear; "you have your keys?" Nope, they are in the.... oh s**t. Yup, there they were... locked in the truck. Figures, the one day my wife leaves her set at home. A phone call was placed to her mom and she was able to go to our apartment and get my wife's set of keys. Trailer paid for and off we go. About 30 minutes later, we arrive at a house in Enfield to pick up my new toy.

Compliments to my wonderful wife, I am the proud owner of a 2002 Suzuki Marauder VZ800. Only 5,500 miles and the price was hard to give up at $2,500. Would have went right to DMV to register her if the Yuke didn't decide to have a hissey fit.
