Hi all. Jess and I figured we would need something that we could play on in those places that the X can't/shouldn't go in Alaska. :D

How'd those ramps come out by the way? Did you end up finishing them up?

Yes I finished them and they worked for the loading and unloading. The problem is this though. The way we set them up, the ramps kick up when the ATV goes into the trailer alot more than I thought they would which isn't good. Also, Jess said that if I could see how much they bent when I went up them I probably wouldn't have continued. She said go get the metal ramps lol. I guess we're going to try and dump those onto someone that has a lighter ATV than this one.

You need a snowmobile now too.

I ended up drilling some huge D Rings into the floor and using rachet straps. Got everything done for about 40 bucks and they work great. The ATV didn't move an inch all the way home from Barrington.

Dagger...Jess had so much fun riding/driving the ATV today that I see a snowmachine in my future...or a smaller ATV for her to ride because she's going to get tired of being in the passenger seat. :D [/quote]

That's how I started. It's fun, but riding is a drag after a while, so I need a second one. I can tell you there's nothing like riding the trails on a snowmobile.

Ohh, that's pretty 8)

I bought the tri-fold aluminum ramps from Harbor Freight to use for my quad / motorcycle. I think they were only about $80. May be something to look into if you're still in the market for ramps.

Very cool toy, guys. I've always wanted one of those. Maybe someday.
