Cleaned the bike today and then had to go for a ride. It was cold so just took a short one down to the river. Had a tourist take a picture of me and the bike with the manhattan skyline in the background;

Then went under the Brooklyn Bridge and took a poser shot of the bike;

It was nice to get out even if it was just a short run. Doesn't the bike look cool? 8)

But I hate to be the one to tell ya this. But your breaking the rules in the top picture. It clearly says "No standing zone" and your standing there.. :nIn:

:lol: Ha ah, it's so funny you saw that. There was a police van with 3 cops in it having lunch just to the left of the bike. I asked them if I could stay and take a few pictures and they said it was cool.
Show respect get respect. 8)

Sorry but no, it took me about an hour to clean it.

I don't ride on windy days. I used to ride in all kinds of weather but now that is just not fun anymore. It has got to be nice for me to do any kind of distance on a bike. I just cruise with it on nice days. The bike is for show the truck is for go.

When I was young like you I rode in all types of weather. I rode from NY to Daytona for bike week and froze my ass off. Rain or shine, did it, got the tee shirt. I still love to ride but will no longer endure any discomfort while doing so. :wink:

It got up to 65 in Brooklyn yesterday so last night I put the battery back in the bike and she started right up. Cleaned her off a bit and rode her to work today. It was a bit chilly (45) but nice.

I heard someone here is picking up a new bike today?
