Tuesday morning I had to take the bike to work because the night before I was pulled over and informed that the Jeep had no working tail/brake lights. The bulbs and sockets were severly corroded and needed to be replaced. Since I didn't have time to get what I needed before leaving for work, I packed my change of clothes in my tank bag, layered up, and headed off on my chilly 65 mile commute.

Luckily Wednesday's weather was even nicer, but I had an 8pm appointment in Shelton that I had to go to on my way home. The bike did great giving me an overall 43 mpg. There seems to be a flat spot in the mid throttle position. I am still iffy about the jets that the PO put in the carbs, and whether or not they need to be swapped for different ones or just position.

Anyway, here is a couple pictures of the bike at work.

Nice cover.

Come on man, I need more than a cell-phone shot of your bike cover!

It is a nice travel cover that packs up relatively small. Works great for keeping the snow, rain and sun off the bike while I am not riding.

The bike is really in need of a good cleaning right now too. :P
