So I've read a lot about my bike and I know that the electric system is close to maxed out just on idle, and I like the look of LED, so I decided I'm going to replace all but the headlight with LED's. I'm posting the project over on another motorcycle forum, but thought why not post it here.
Well, I started tearing into this project since everything came in. Temps are still fairly cold, 32 degrees, so this was more prep work although I did get the rear brake light replaced.

The taillight replacement was so easy. I unscrewed the old housing, removed the light bulb, and the LED board fits in and just screw back into place.
I'm amazed at the full brightness on the LED, not just a small spot.
