I do too.
I took the bike out over the weekend for a trip to Boston and it was great.

Visiting a friend in Mansfield as I was attending a bachelor party in Providence.

So, it was an in and out trip (pun intended)

I love riding my bike to work, except it has 21 gears. How many does yours have? ;)

I need a suggestion for something warm to wear on my legs. I seem to have my upper body taken care of, but my legs are still getting a bit cold by the time I get to work.

"Road the bike to work" = Bicycle
"Drove the bike to work" = Motorcycle

Years ago when I rode down to Daytona for Bike Week/Spring Break I got a pair of heavy leather chaps for the ride back (did not pay for them but that?s another story). They look stupid but work great, warm, easy on and off but I don?t wear them unless I absolutely have to. I feel a bit funny in them outside of the Bike Week world of Daytona, if you know what I mean.

I don?t know, I?ve always said ?ride" or "rode my bike? when talking about motorcycling, live to ride, ride to live and all that crap.

Long John's and heavy leather pants. But then you have to change at work because it will be too warm.

October's my favorite month for riding. Wet leaves on corners can suck, tho

I rode in today and it was great.

As for cold weather gear, I have a set of pants and jacket that I picked up for just about $100 at the local shop. They don't keep you toasty, but they do diffuse the cold so that you only feel a little cool on a long ride. They aren't easy on and easy off, but the jacket can go over a leather jacket and the pants go over everything, including my boots.. So, between all that stuff, some booties to go over my leather boots and some cold weather gloves, I've ridden about 175 miles in 20 degrees without any real problem - other than loving a big cup of hot coffee once I got to my destination.

Also, if you ride a lot in cold weather, there is always electric vests and pants. Not cheap, but I hear they work. An althernative is a snow mobile suit.

I am not that dedicated that I need either. This weekend may be my last ride of the season unless we get a warm spell. I will be preparing the bike for the winter.
