I have a Joe Rocket Ego jacket (really nice, and very comfortable), and usually just wear jeans and my steel toe flight boots.

I'm a bit worried about the jeans though, as I've heard horror stories about denim in an accident.

What do you wear?

I pretty much wear the same type of setup.
Jeans won't fare well in an accident, but you're riding a motorcycle - so there's some risk anyway.

I pretty much ride with the same stuff. I've got 3 different armored jackets that cover most temperature ranges.. I run a joe rocket mesh jacket on hot days, I've got a leather / textile shift jacket for when temps are like 50-75 and I've got a heavy leather jacket for colder temps.

For pants, I've got a pair of the armored Icon jeans, but I usually don't wear them when I'm going to and from work. On cold days, I've got a pair of leather riding pants.

For shoes, I just picked up a pair of the alpinestars riding shoes. They're not too flashy and are pretty comfortable. Before that I'd wear my steel toes.

On really really hot days, I "squid" it if I'm not riding hard or riding on the highway; t-shirt, jeans, sneakers.

T-shirt, shorts or jeans depending on temperature, sneakers, gloves, and helmet.

I don't think I'd ever ride with shorts.

Even when I lived in Florida, I wore jeans and boots when I was on the bike.

A question to all; does your jacket and helmet colors match your bike colors?

No way. That's ghey. I just wear black leathers (or balistic nylon when it's too hot for leathers). I find the cars respect you more if you look mean and are dressed in black. Helmet is just a plain, full-faced in silver --- no decals.

Here's some fodder for Tom's never-ending ridicule:

Image

DOT/Snell helmet, Joe Rocket Ego jacket, Tourmaster Venture pants, Steel toe boots, gloves.

And I guess the bike is a Vespa, since it isn't a Harley.

 Man Anthony you're the F'n best! The pants, the boots, the hard luggage in the back all you need is a pirate flag and the picture would be everything I've imagined. You're F'n beautiful. Rock on brother!
