That does suck.

At least he's a moron that stayed and owned up to it. He could have been an ass and just driven away.

Then again, people get shot for lesser offenses where you live. :guns:

Get the insurance check and mod it up.

Yeah, it?s just a drag. I don?t think I?m going to mod it because I?ve had my eye on a beautiful powder blue Road King and I might go for that next year.

Just sold my bike. I dont even have a pic of it. It was wrecked anyways. It USED to be a '02 Ducati 900SS.

Think I'm gonna put a deposit on a 1098 when I get back from Afghan.

:wank:

I just saw the 1098R in person for the first time... f'n a is all I have to say. By far one of the most beautiful bikes I've ever seen. If I could afford one, I'd have a Duc instead of my R6

Here's my old bike - a Kawasaki EX500

I left it with a friend in FL to sell for me (which he did - luckily just a week before it would have been destroyed by Hurricane Ivan).

I just made my first bike purchase last night. I am now the proud owner of a slightly customized 1982 Honda Nighthawk 750.

This makes me sad. I hope you came out of it OK though.

That's what I ride. 02 900 Sport. I must admit though, those 1098's are hawt! But WAY beyond my skill.

I ride a 1982 BMW R65. Here is a pic of that model in the same color as mine, but the pic is not my bike:

I have the hard luggage on my bike, like the saddle bags shown below.

The R65 is relatively light weight, nimble, 650 cc bike that is best on the back roads and twisties. It is a good touring bike. I also use it to commute to work when the weather permits.

Can I play too???????????????????????

03 (purchased new Dec 07 as a WAY LEFTOVER) Honda VTR1000 SuperHawk

LOUD Micron High Mounts
LED integrated tail light/turn signals
LED front flush mounts
SharkSkinz lower fairing
Reworked forks (revalve, resprung, polished, the whole 9)
+2 Rear (-1 front, sometimes.. i swap out for better 2/3rd wheelies)
and lots of little odds and ends

Oh yea.... I WRECKED IT WITH ONLY 570 MILES ON IT.... and it HURT

Image

Its all back together now, and approaching 2000 miles quickly...

My last bike was a 01 R6, loved it, but gotta say, the Vtwin sportbike is a whole other feeling... Doesn't have the top end, and will probably get yarded on the long straights, but having that ability to not constantly shift for power, and the strong torque at low RPM's, and not to mention the sound... WOW, the sound is AWESOME... and way more comfortable

I LOVE those old Bandit 400's... I would LOVE to have one... I came really close to buying a old FZR400R once on ebay, but had a friend with a Bandit 400 i loved too. My buddy's Bandit 400 felt super light for its time, and I could ride wheelies for daysssssssssssssssssssssssssss on it... very fun little bike. wish i had one for the wife to learn on.

WANNA SELL? lol
