Cool little gadget if you don’t want the phone mounted on the bars. But I wonder how much the phone battery will drain as it looks like the device still gets the data from your phone. I have one of those Ram mount handle bar mounts for the phone that has worked well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I have a RAM mount as well; Just thought this was cool. New tech and all... Quick high-jack of my own thread ; I have one of those old style Battery Tenders your grandpa used to use back in ancient times. Since I’m a fair-weather rider (as most Harley riders are) I plug the bike to it during the what could be a few weeks between rides to keep the battery in good shape. I’ve been using this same tender for over thirty years (I know, I’m old as dirt and a cheap f@ck). Anywho, I’ve run the Ring Terminal Harness that came with the thing to the bikes battery so that I can just plug and unplug it in without accessing the battery every time. Last year I added a Quick Disconnect Plug with USB Charger 12V Input and Maximum 2.1 Amps Output with a “Lighting Cable” running with zip-ties along the frame up to the handle bars. Now when I unplug from the tender I plug into the quick disco and can charge my phone as I ride. |
