Wheeling after meeting.
Trailering your rig? Call Sher for trailer parking accomodations.

They have a great property for wheeling don't miss it.

I am unable to attend, due to a prior appointment that I can not miss.

Crap, this is right in my backyard but i will be on vacation.

I am available that weekend to be at the meeting. Just as long as I don't have to work I could be there.

So far I don't see why I would have to work. Doing some maintenance this weekend to the X. So I should be good to go.

I attended the NEA meeting on behalf of NEXterra. Some of the topics we discussed at the meeting were.

Land Reports:

VT - Some of the class 6 roads in VT have been damaged by rain and local flooding. No plans yet to fix them as of yet. There was talk of about 800? acres of land opening up near Bristol to cut trails and maintain.

RI - no reports

NH - no reports

ME - no reports

CT- no reports

MA - GG no issues but is sloppy. OFR no issues. MaBell no issues, there was some discussion about putting some sort of marking or give the clubs who wheel there the GPS coordinates for the end of the trail. The Summit property needs to have a parking area made. The water crossings need work. For the foreseeable future in order to wheel the summit property there would have to be a half work/half wheel day.


Steve from SSW was talking to me about them doing a trail clean up in Taunton, MA on April 14th.

The Big River clean up in RI is on April 21st this year. OSJ and SSW said they would both be there.

There is an event happening on July 14th in NH near Keene. It's called Crawling For A Cure. It is a weekend event with camping near the trail. Crawling For A Cure; On the trail for Breast Cancer Research and Survivors is an off roading event to be held in the Summer of 2012 in Southern NH to raise money for Breast Cancer Research and Survivors. http://crawlingforacure.org/


After the meeting Mass Mudders had there local wheeling spot for us to check out. All I have to say is WOW! Wicked tight trails combined with large rocks and drop offs and tons of slick mud is all the wrong spots. There were 5 of us from the meeting who went wheeling after wards. I decided to park my X at the trail head after looking at the "gate keeper" and saying no way. I hopped in with Steve from SSW and had a blast. The people from Mass Mudders are amazing people on and off the trail.

This Jeep CJ 8 made everyone hungry all afternoon.  It runs on recycled fryer oil.  Why you ask, because it has a Mercedez 5 cyl deisel in it.  This truck was amazing.
